In collaboration with Pacfort, ABB has introduced a new sustainable packaging solution made almost entirely from recycled paper. The redesigned packaging doubled capacity from 28 to 56 poles while reducing packaging volume per pole by 16% and overall packaging weight by 17%.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

These improvements have delivered significant operational and environmental benefits, including annual CO\u2082 savings of 133 tonnes and cost reductions of approximately \u20ac160,000 per year. Despite initial concerns regarding the strength of cardboard packaging, customer feedback has been extremely positive. Since July, the new solution has been implemented across all PT1 variants, with plans to expand the concept to additional pole variants next year. The project demonstrates how Pacfort and ABB have worked together to combine sustainability, efficiency, and long-term value.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\n\t\t\t\t
